Sarcoidosis only rarely affects the brain; it is generally a disease of the lung and skin (although it may affect virtually every organ). Irish-Amesrican[edit]

Her surname is Irish. Wikipedia no longer has the rule about a person needing to SELF-identify as an Irish-American, for example in an interview. The Category:Irish-Americans page is now a repository for all those of Irish-descent, i.e. those with an Irish surname and not necessarily those that self identify. I wasn't able to immediately find a cite for this, but I'm pretty sure that Duffy was the "Charlie Girl" (spokesmodel for "Charlie" the fragrance) for a time, during the 90s. Year of birth[edit]

Her year of birth was changed by an anon IP back in 2011, with no explanation [1]. IMBd has the year as 1961, but I found lots of ghits saying 1962 - A lot of these probably used Wikipedia as a source. Does anyone have a definitive reference to her year of birth? I changed the year from 1962 (an unexplained/unsourced edit) to 1961, which matches the source cited in the infobox. A newspaper from May 23, 2003, says that Duffy was 42 on that date. Subtraction indicates that her birth year was 1961. Eddie Blick (talk) 02:38, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source for that date?

WP:BLPPRIVACY specifies, "Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object to the details being made public."
