Is this station's callsign going to change to WBZY-FM soon?? Georgia guy 02:33, 14 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Move from WLCL (FM) to WBZY-FM?

    • Agreed. 105.3 changed from WLCL to WBZY-FM on May 17, according to the station's record at the FCC. [1]   –radiojon 02:19, 2005 May 20 (UTC)

This article has been renamed as the result of a move request. violet/riga (t) 17:00, 24 May 2005 (UTC) This used to be full power WDEN allso lost to Atlanta move ins why!![reply]

what is the subject of the article[edit]

This article seems to chronicle the history of the 105.3 frequency more than "The Buzz". Are all the talks about the changes of 105.5 to 105.3 to 80's to talk to this and that relevant? Really, shouldn't it start when 96.7 started and then moved to 105.3 and now the project 96.1 thing? Sabalon 06:36, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The subject of this article is the 105.3 frequency in Atlanta. If the station changes callsign, the article is to be moved to the new callsign. Georgia guy 14:50, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. With the title being WBZY-FM, I had assumed it was more about the station not the frequency. Though I guess having 105.3 (Atlanta) would be a pretty horrid way of putting articles in! Sabalon 13:26, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:WBZYlogo.jpg[edit]

Image:WBZYlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Notice

The file File:WBZY 105.3FMElPatron logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free former logo being used in a WP:DECORATIVE manner in a gallery of former logos in WRDG#Previous logo which fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFG. Non-free former logos can be used as long as their use complies with WP:NFC#cite_note-4 and this almost always means the logo itself about the logo and the associated change in brandling that led to its replacement is the subject of sourced critical commentary. Simply adding the logo to "show" what it looks like is not considered sufficient to satisfy WP:NFC#CS, except in cases where the logo is being used for primary identification purposes at the top of or in the main infobox of an article about the organization the logo represents.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 12:29, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
