Birthplace[edit]

I have reverted Milan's birthplace back to Vigantice. Despite most references in a Google search of "Milan Baros birthplace" coming up with either "Ostrava" or "Czech Republic"(!) there's no need for Wikipedia to follow the herd and be definitively wrong! Vigantice is a little place about 25 km south of Ostrava, and they seem to be very proud of their local boy if you can read Czech and take a look at [1] -- Arwel 22:02, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)

More details of Baros' career[edit]

Are we able to get more details of Baros' career? Especially since he was the Euro 2004 Golden Boot winner, and he did serve up sensational goals for Czech Republic, but sadly due to his lack of chances in the Liverpool team, we didn't see the best of Baros in a Liverpool shirt. --chapter1 09:30, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The years in his "youth career" are not correct (2020??) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.224.154.2 (talk) 07:56, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

the dent in the CL trophy[edit]

It's a hilarious story, but is it really relevant, especially right after all that talk about cup-tied players and transfer fees?? K. Lastochka 22:59, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

this article should be locked RIGHT NOW! Ecgecg (talk) 22:02, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

the main article should be rewritten by a native english speaker. whilst its very good for a non native anglophone, it contains several examples of poor english and malapropism.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.2.120.18 (talkcontribs) 18:25, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Romani?[edit]

Can we look for another reference to his Romani origin? The reference given doesn't provide any information, just sticks him on the list with no verification. I'm not calling it into question, but since anything having to do with the Roma is just bound to be an explosive issue eventually, we should solidly verify everything. K. An image used in this article, File:Milan Baros galatasaray.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)

place of birth[edit]

place of birth: ostrava, england.... what? this is ridiculous, what idiot wrote that....

also - "considered one of the worlds best strikers".... no he is not...clearly written by baros' biggest fan. to say that is comparing him to messi, ronaldo, van persie etc.. which are clearly far better strikers— Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.20.201.105 (talkcontribs) 19:58, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
