Additionally, the controls were initially labelled in Russian.

The B&O also had a famous "Little Joe" class (aka the "Dockside" switchers). We need== Request to move ==

Sounds reasonable, but since this locomotive model was used both on MILW and CSSSB, I think Little Joe (electric locomotive) would be a better destination (assuming that the B&O class were steam or diesel locomotives). Slambo (Speak) 10:29, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article name[edit]

I'm not doing a formal move request yet, but I think this article is better located at Little Joe (electric locomotive), where it was from 2006–2012. The Milwaukee Road did use the EF-4 and EP-4 designations for its locomotives,[1] but that designation is not (so far as I can tell) ever used to describe the locomotives on the South Shore or the Companhia Paulista de Estradas de Ferro. The South Shore called them the 800-class, but secondary literature also employs the "Little Joe" moniker.[2] Secondary literature on the Milwaukee Road calls them the "Little Joe" as well in lieu of the formal designation.[3] General works use "Little Joe" to refer to the class collectively.[4] The use of the general term makes sense here. Milwaukee Road class EF-4 and EP-4 → Little Joe (electric locomotive) – Per my rationale in #Article name above. "Milwaukee Road class EF-4 and EP-4" refers only to the locomotives owned by the Milwaukee Road and does not encompass those owned by other railroads. The "Little Joe" name, though informal, is the WP:COMMONNAME for this type of locomotive and widely used in the secondary literature, including that which focus on the Milwaukee Road. Survivors section[edit]

Can someone clarify what this (at the bottom of the section) " As of 2008, 6455 were transferred in safe for the stop-station gare and now is safe in a rail station-museum" means? I'm afraid I didn't quite get it, and I speak railfan-ese fairly well... Thanks! ++Lar: t/c 23:56, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
