Incorrect title for album[edit]

Technically, this album should be credited to The Wailers, not Bob Marley and the Wailers. Until the departure of Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, the group was known as The Wailers. Credit of the band as Bob Marley and the Wailers did not start until the release of the Natty Dread album, and for this album should be changed.PJtP (talk) 18:16, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The band had released several albums and singles as Bob Marley and the Wailers before they signed to Island Records. Several of the songs on this album are re-recordings of songs that had been released under the name Bob Marley and the Wailers. SilkTork (talk) 12:34, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I Shot the Sheriff[edit]

If "I Shot the Sherriff" was released as a single in February 1973, then why does this page say the album it is from was recorded in April 1973? 12:48, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

There is a source which says that "I Shot the Sheriff" was released as a single in Australia on that date, though it is possible (likely) that the year is wrong and it should say 1974. Other sources do give 1974 as the year the single was released in the US, so that is what I have adjusted it to. SilkTork (talk) 13:00, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
