Check text[edit]

This is a possible old copyright violation. See [1]. Therefore the text here should be reorganized and partly rewritten just in case. Otherwise it should be removed. --mav — Preceding undated comment added 20:56, 21 September 2002 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be happy to change the text, but I happen to be the author of both of these articles and didn't know this would be a problem. If you still think it is, please let me know. -- RC — Preceding unsigned comment added by Randolph carter (talkcontribs) 19:33, 11 April 2003 (UTC)[reply]

Writing period[edit]

Writing period is listed as up to 1992. He is listed to have died in 1991 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.70.228.112 (talk) 11:47, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Writing period information has been changed. Unless proof can be found of his post-mortem work... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.62.80.114 (talk) 14:56, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(Re: Writing Period): I think the original intention of the text was that the last book written was published posthumously, in 1992 (it matters not to me the year displayed). wl —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wlornten (talkcontribs) 00:51, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article assessment[edit]

There are three "citation needed" tags, two in the Life and career section dated 2010, and one in the Illustrators section dated 2012. Four out of five projects have it rated as B-class (maybe bot assessed?) but one of the B-class criteria is It has reliable sources, and any important or controversial material which is likely to be challenged is cited..

If someone could look at this it would prevent (other criteria being met) a reassessment to C-class. Otr500 (talk) 13:04, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
