It's a pretty popular "fact" among Japanese. The rhesus factor is in this case uinteresting. She is type 'A' though.
I wonder why the article doesn't mention anything about her being entirely without talent and the ongoing debate locally as to why she is actually performing in public and on tv all the time when most people flee the elevators when she's on the radio.
