This is a new constituency[edit]

Err, how can the change column be anything other than N/A?. -- Chris j wood 00:14, 6 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I guess the changes are notional, in which case there should be some indication of how and by whom they have been calculated. Laurel Bush 13:44, 5 July 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Politics of Scotland Template[edit]

Template:Politics of Scotland seems to do more than it is worth in terms of distortion to the page layout. Seems to me a choice should be made between the politics of Scotland template and the constituency info box, in favour of just the latter. (And if the politics of Scotland box should be included, then why not also the politics of the UK box?) Laurel Bush 13:42, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the politics of Scotland box, a bit bizarre for it to be on here, I've not seen it on any other constituency pages. Hopefully the page won't have a big gap in it now. Catchpole 21:16, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update[edit]

Neale Hanvey[edit]

137.195.162.110 - I agree that the Scottish National Party have withdrawn their support for Neale Hanvey. However, due to this coming after the statement of persons was released, Neal Hanvey will still appear on the ballot paper as a Scottish National Party candidate and there for should be listed as a Scottish National Party candidate on Wikipedia in order to avoid confusion for people that might use wikipedia for information on the candidate. There is also a sentence underneath the election box explaining the situation, so nothing needs to be changed. OrkneyLad1996 (talk) 23:40, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Just come across this and article currently misrepresents reality. All media record him as an SNP candidate so that has to be reflected here with an explanatory note to explain that he had been suspended Birtig (talk) 20:42, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
