Well, its not wikified, and I'm not sure its not copyrighted, and it obviously isn't NPOV, but I'll make a few changes to it. I can assure anyone who wants to delete this article that it is legitimate information for an encyclopedia. Atorpen

If it's from another encyclopedia, it definitely shouldn't be here. -- Zoe

I took the trouble to do a google search, and the first link was this: http://www.kazak.de/13931.html. Clearly this is the same article. This might raise about other articles that may been been merely copied and pasted during this same time. Atorpen P.S. Um, Zoe, I didn't say that, the first time, you'll notice. But I did, the second.

Atorpen, the version I deleted didn't resemble anything like what you have here. I wouldn't have deleted the article if it resembled this. Please don't think I'm trying to start a war with you. I sure don't need another one. -- Zoe

Apologies, and :) I was in the process of editing the article, and my changes were, I think, just lost because of an edit conflict, which I've grown to hate. I'm going to try to stay out this talk page now, because I don't like spending most of my time here, either. Enjoy yourself. Atorpen 06:54 Jan 27, 2003 (UTC)

-One thing I wanted to add as I am reading his biography by Auezov. He has him coming back from the Madras--but never going to Russian school? Dawit

I changed a few things, in the design, but I don't believe the main content is really up to par with wikipedia standards. Does anyone know a lot about Abai to re-write some parts, and organize it nicely, with a contents and stuff. This seems a bit of a jumble. Also there are several things I'm not quite sure about. Do we have sources for Russian school, feudal lordship (I think this doesn't quite fit into Kazakh culture), and maybe more. . . And there seems to be some things that aren't really worth mentioning, or at least not in that way. --Erkin2008 05:11, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
