Domestic abuse[edit]

I've heard that Ghandi beat his wife from quite a few people, can anyone back this up with a citation? or is it just an urban legend. Either way it should probably be noted either here or on the Ghandi entry

Marriage at age 13 to Gandhi[edit]

If she was born in April 1869, she'd have been 13 in May 1882. However, the article on Gandhi himself says that he was born in October 1869, which'd have made him 12 in May 1882 when they both married. This article claims that both him and her were 13. Vandalism?[edit]

I noticed that there are many apparent mispellings of Kasturba's name throughout this article. Most of the references on her page spell it "Masturba". Seems like obvious vandalism unless this is an alternate spelling of her name. If this is the case, I think that we should aim for consistency and use only one spelling. Plagiarism in "Health and Death"[edit]

I'd like to point out that in the Health and Death section, there is plagiarized material from Quora.com

The following text was used without quotation or reference, and the validity of the text is questionable because it appears as part of a question asked on Quora: It was Gandhi, after learning that the penicillin had to be administered by injection every four to six hours, who finally persuaded his youngest son to give up the idea. Gandhi didn't believe in modern medicine.[1]

Literacy[edit]

The article currently states that she taught women reading. This seems to contradict other sources (see Tarlo, 'Married to the Mahatma', 1997) that indicate she was largely illiterate and that her attempts to read and write were "sporadica" and "limited".
