German-to-English translation requested[edit]

The passage from a biography of Dion Fortune, titled "Priesterin Leben und Magie der Dion Fortune" by Smaragd Verlag, I need translated from German to English is as follows:

Die Blavatsky bezieht sich auf ihr EPOS Die entschleierte Isis. Früher, als John King noch den größten Einfluß hatte, bevor er den östlichen Führern Platz machen mußte, sollte das Buch Skeleton Key to Mysterious Gates (Der Dietrich zu den Toren der Mysterien) heißen - ein seit langem vergessener Titel. Später, unter dem Einfluß eines Erhabeneren als der arme John King, änderte sie den Titel in The Veil of Isis (Der Schleier der Isis). Es war eine Referenz an Plutarch, der die verschleierte Isis vor ihrem Tempel in Sais beschrieb, mit der berühmten Inschrift: ,Ich bin alles, das war, das ist, und das sein wird, und kein Sterblicher hat meinen Schleier gelüftet. Das wäre ein sehr viel besserer Titel gewesen, aber man machte ihr klar, daß er in England bereits für ein Buch von W. Winwood Reade über Druidentum verwendet worden wäre, und so blieb sie bei Die entschleierte Isis.

Es ist ein gewaltiges Werk, mit dem sie eine himmelschreiende und nie anerkannte Schuld gegenüber dem Buch Anacalypsis von Godfrey Higgins abtrug, mit dem Untertitel Ein Versuch, den Schleier der Isis zu Sais beiseitezuziehen oder Eine Untersuchung des Ursprungs der Sprachen, Nationen und Religionen. Higgins war ein hochkarätiger Freimaurer, ein Schüler des Okkultismus, und möglicherweise auch Mitglied des Druidenordens An Uileach Druidh Braithreaches. Diesem Orden wird nachgesagt, Nachfolger des Hermetischen Ordens der Goldenen Dämmerung zu sein. Es spielt keine Rolle, daß sie für ihre Vision bei ihm abgeschrieben hat, oder daß Dions eigenes Buch The Cosmic Doctrine (Die kosmische Doktrin), das von westlichen Meistern diktiert worden sein soll, in vieler Hinsicht eine Überarbeitung der Vorträge ihres Mentors gewesen ist.

Das alles spielt keine Rolle. Es zählt nur das Endresultat. Und im Falle der Blavatsky war das Endresultat ein Buch, das die okkulte Welt verblüffte, auch wenn es die orthodoxeren literarischen Zirkel unberührt ließ.

There is mention of Higgins being a student of Occultism and probably a member of the Druid order An Uileach Druidh Braithreaches. The second paragraph is particularly required; however, if the first and third paragraphs provide context, those would be useful. The German text essentially underlines that, whatever other borrowings, Blavatsky's big book, Isis Unveiled, owes a huge debt, never acknowledged (nie anerkannte Schuld) to Godfrey Higgins's Anacalypsis. Godfrey Higgins School of Medicine[edit]

In 1980, the University of Zimbabwe's Godfrey Higgins School of Medicine was located in Harare, Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia). Whether the school was related to Godfrey Higgins is unknown; however, the school did share his name. Dr. Mohamed-Iqbal Ravalia, a notable graduate of the Godfrey Higgins School of Medicine in 1980, was honored in November 2004 as a recipient of the Reg L. Perkin's (Family Physicians of the Year) award by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

I deleted the above passage ...the original Authour has confused Godfrey Higgens with Godfrey Huggins. Lord Malvern[edit]

I have deleted a segment: ".....also known by his knighthood name Lord Malvern,"

This is wrong in two ways:

1) Godfrey Huggins (Not Godfrey Higgins) was Lord Mavern A totally different person. 2) Kighthood name British Knights only have the title Sir in front of their name. i.e Sir Godfrey Huggins. Lord Malvern is peerage or aristocratic title. A diferent thing to a Knighthood. (Knights are technically commoners). Hi, Can you please tell me why my added external link was recently removed? I added the following information "The Anacalypsis of Godfrey Higgins in Russian language. Site: arbalettv.com" https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Godfrey_Higgins&diff=960460320&oldid=960414333 For the first time ever Godfrey Higgins's Anacalypsis was translated into Russian and I thought it would have been appropriated to add this important link to the article.
