Article relies largely or entirely upon a single source[edit]

Untitled[edit]

The source was an interview with the artist himself, who is now deceased. I think any other sources of information will be rare, because he is deceased. I do not know of any other books, sources or publications regarding this artist.--Electronic Music (talk) 17:16, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

De-POV[edit]

This article needs to be de-POV'ed. I will try to get to it in the next week. Cnwb 10:01, 10 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The article has been re-written since this De-POV.--Electronic Music (talk) 08:36, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clean-up[edit]

I'm in the process of writing/expanding Fad Gadget single and album articles so will have a go at cleaning this up in due course (if no-one else gets to it first). Cheers, Ian Rose 23:42, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Have written a fuller biography and hopefully added an image that may stay for the duration.--Electronic Music (talk) 21:50, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:FiresideFavourites1.jpg[edit]

Image:FiresideFavourites1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I don't know that we can make a case under Fair Use for this image to remain here when there may be publicity pictures around that could stand as replacements - however if anyone wants to have a go be my guest... Cheers, Ian Rose 22:44, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If I can make it, a couple of lines on Tovey's life and performances are next. Unfortunately, I know nothing about his later records (the ones recorded under his own name). I don't claim to be anything like a Fad Gadget expert, I just like some of his music very much. If someone knows better, please feel free to correct my mistakes and to fill in the blanks.
