Untitled[edit]

There's a bit of a disabiguity here, since the term is both used in a technical sense and a philosophic sense. I suggest that Prime Mover be used for the philosophic term, but I'm not going to worry about clearing up the links until somebody actually writes an article about it. Ckape 06:04, 3 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I agree. Prime Mover should be a separate article instead of a redirect. —Lowellian (talk) 01:20, Jan 17, 2005 (UTC)
In the philosophic sense, I believe "prime mover" is akin to "first cause". If so, the links and redirects should point to the latter article, which still requires some expansion and clean-up. -- FirstPrinciples 08:05, Jan 23, 2005 (UTC)
It must be said that the term is quite useful in its mechanical sense but I agree that this should be clearly separated from the other meanings, perhaps with separate articles entitled Prime mover (mechanical), Prime mover (Philosophical) etc... whatever seems convenient - with of course a disambiguation page--John of Paris 09:27, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wouldn't this article fit better in Wiktionary? Dfeuer 06:22, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is meant to be a disambiguation page[edit]

The elements which belong in an article, that is the stuff with no links, need to be in an article, not on this page Fiddle Faddle (talk) 20:05, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
