Merge proposal[edit]

This article is all over the place, and IMO would be better merged into the William Light article, with bits perhaps into History of Adelaide, Adelaide city centre and elsewhere as appropriate. The title is ambiguous, and most google hits refer to the statue, not the abstract concept of his vision. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 06:00, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

While I support the merger, is it possible to move the geographical content (i.e. the statute of Light) to a new article developed from the redirect for Montefiore Hill. Regards Cowdy001 (talk) 08:24, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea, Cowdy001. I'm fine with that. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 11:18, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support both merge and related suggestions above GooglerW (talk) 13:25, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Laterthanyouthink, by the way, Light's Vision has a state heritage listing - please refer Light's Vision and Memorial to Colonel William Light. Regards Cowdy001 (talk) 08:33, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Cowdy001 and GooglerW. I will get back to the task once I've finished working my way through William and Francis (and miscellaneous diversions!). Laterthanyouthink (talk) 10:09, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Now merged. I hope I've tidied up loose ends. Will leave this here and copy over the above discussion onto the William Light page. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 05:17, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
