Untitled[edit]

I removed the following: He died in 1937.

Since it was in conflict with the born and died in the first sentence. I don't know which is right, but it's better not to have both.

Precocious overachiever[edit]

Involved with Álvaro Obregón, Venustiano Carranza, Pancho Villa, and Gustavo A. Madero in the Mexican Revolution, captured at the Battle of Celaya, US ambassador, he arranged meetings between Felix Diaz and General Bernardo Reyes... and died at the age of eleven??? Something's not right here.... Grutness|hello? 06:44, 10 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Couple of other things are not right here. He was not involved with Obregon and Carranza. They did not become prominent until after Wilson was removed as ambassador. He was also not captured at the Battle of Celaya. Finally, he did not arrange meetings with General Bernardo Reyes. Reyes was already dead when Wilson held his famous meetings. The correct General was General Huerta.Ramon4 05:50, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The American Rôle[edit]

This article is definitely not worded neutrally. CharlesRobertCountofNesselrode 15:54, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it's reaching comical levels, honestly. "In summary, Wilson was a sordid, intriguing traitor that personally betrayed the Constitutional President of Mexico..." Really? Though I do agree (partially) with the assessment, its not exactly suited for an article. And apologies in advance for not fixing it myself, don't have time at the moment. 75.82.251.155 (talk) 06:43, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009[edit]

Completely re-wrote article omitting some of the more inflammatory items and dressing up with hitherto unmentioned information. I would appreciate some feed back re:NPOV. Thanks,--Lyricmac (talk) 21:59, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wow[edit]

Just an exclamation. Never knew about this.. My views on US were way too rosy before Wikipedia and her history articles. --CopperKettle 18:03, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues[edit]

I've tagged the article as having multiple issues. I suspect this article has mainly been worked on by single purpose or narrow purpose editors without much experience due to both the history of POV issues and the clear lack of properly formatted reliable sources. As it stands now there are only two usable sources on this page, both already formatted as footnotes, with the remainder of the sources not meeting the criteria for reliable sources. Much of the wording is loaded or fails to meet the tone of a neutrally worded article. The bunk sources and POV language is so pervasive I'm not even sure where to begin unwrapping this issue without deleting 90% of the article. If there are any interested editors who know a good place in the edit log to start back at please let me know. Otherwise, most of the article will be deleted.
