Ming Tsai[edit]

The date of the founding of Panda Inn, Panda Express' predecessor, by Andrew Cherng, is listed as 1973. There is a link to his father, Master Chef Ming Tsai Cherng, that leads to the article about Ming Tsai, Food Network host, whose birthday is listed as March 29, 1964. Articles about Andrew Cherng show pictures of a man who is clearly much older than Ming Tsai and cannot be his son. In conclusion, Master Chef Ming Tsai Cherng != Ming Tsai.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.2.135.228 (talkcontribs) 2007-05-29 05:22:08

Social Responsibility[edit]

The "philanthropy" information included in the article is out-dated. How is Panda Express currently engaging in social responsibility and giving back to the community? Given that Panda Express is one of the largest food chains in the United States, I think that more information should be included in the engagement in the community. Pure Marketing BS[edit]

Someone needs to take this down. It's an advertisement, and contains lies (100 billion sales? lol) 73.6.96.168 (talk) 15:27, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you that this article violates wikipedia's neutrality policy, as it does indeed look like a press release.
Here are some sources that could be added to the article to show the downside of the subject:

Did it actually enter China?[edit]

It says on the Panda Express page that Panda Express has entered China, but it seems that that may not have been true.

At least this tweet seems to suggest it is not actually true: https://twitter.com/SixthTone/status/1317013722313805825 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.92.133.219 (talk) 21:27, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected the info - the new restaurant is a fake, as reported by the South China Morning Post. [[1]] It looks like the country is taking intellectual property theft more seriously. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 19:40, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
