Both the table of tambon geocodes which I found at the DOPA as well as the 2000 census report of Chaiyaphum says that both Amphoe Noen Sa-nga as well as King Amphoe Sap Yai were split off from Amphoe Chatturat. The odd this is that Sap Yai and Chatturat aren't adjoined, thus before the split (which was in 1997) Amphoe Chatturat must have been split into two separate parts already. Is that correct? andy 18:41, 5 Feb 2005 (UTC)

We believe that that information is incomplete. We think that Thep Sathit was created from Chatturat at the same time. We will try to verify. --AStanhope 03:24, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)
User:Oatz spotted the mistake - it is Sap Yai and Thep Sathit exchanged in that map. My source map had the two mislabeled already, checking it with another map now I can see that that source had one mistake. And then the above confusion disappears. andy 11:11, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
