name[edit]

Rather odd name. How about "Religions"? —Ashley Y 21:21, 2004 Oct 19 (UTC)

I agree that the name of the category is unhelpful to the average reader who is looking for world faiths and organizations. "Systems" is too techno a word and not indicative of the content in a religious context. However, "Religions" was the previous name of this or a similar category, and it was confusing with its parent category, "Religion." I propose renaming this category to "Religious faiths, traditions, and movements". --Gary D 19:13, Oct 26, 2004 (UTC)

Request for your aid dealing with actions from a user against Religious, Spiritual and Esoteric articles[edit]

User:Baphomet. is damaging Wikipedia: he his trying to label Religious articles as Superstition (from a POV view of positivism, that he calls Science). At the article Reincarnation he just went on to add to category "Superstition" and later on without discussion put a POV msg in the article. Please see the discussion page between both of us Talk:Reincarnation#Superstition.

Through the use of a Culture created by extremism in Science, he is clearly trying to do the job that the Inquisition did in the Middle Ages in a Culture created by extremism in Religion. He is damaging Wikipedia in a subtle invious way!

User Page Listed as Article?[edit]

Having mistakenly attempted to speedy-delete the page listed as User:Digital20/Damon Huardism, before clicking that it was in fact a user page, I'm now wondering how it can be prevented from displaying here in the list. The reason being simply that it's obvious nonsense. The user has already had that content deleted as an actual article, but is apparently linking his User page here in order to continue showing it off. Presumably this is via a tag on Digital20's own page - which I presume (earlier error notwithstanding and now corrected) I'm not supposed to edit. Does anyone know a way of removing this page from the list? - Shrivenzale (talk) 01:44, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've commented-out the categories on that page. This is done by putting <!-- --> around bits of a page that you want to make hidden or ineffective. - Fayenatic (talk) 20:01, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Noted, thank you. - Shrivenzale (talk) 00:56, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
