Radio Electronics' publishing of this Mark-8 computer and the TV Typewriter in September 1973, forced Popular Electronics to respond with the Altair 8800 in January 1975. The personal computer revolution was underway. Jonathan Titus's original Mark-8 is at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C
