Request[edit]

Can someone please find a less horrifying picture to make this article's main? I'd do it but if I spend any more time looking at that owl ill fall into gibbering madness. Chardansearavitriol (talk) 01:59, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, that makes me want to keep it there... Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 03:33, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I came here to say the same. About the gibbering madness, and wanting to keep it. Best picture on the whole site! InedibleHulk (talk) 07:08, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Saving Wetlands[edit]

During your recent talk in So. Utah, you mentioned Ducks and other wetland birds are holding their numbers versus all others. As a single person asked to do something to save our birds, I donate a lot to Ducks Unlimited and The Nature Conservancy. I was surprised you didn’t mention ways that people can help. I don’t always agree with their policies but at least they are saving lands! Great talk and despite being a big birder one San Diego and elsewhere, I learned a great deal.
