Translations[edit]

Woah, the translations of the "Coplas..." are good; very imprecise to the original, but great. Even spanish is my native language. Who is the translator? Deafussy (talk) 11:57, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I feel they are too far off from the original. Basically a completely different take, so far removed from the original that it is misleading the English reader. 80.29.127.187 (talk) 00:48, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

help[edit]

Please help me to correct the english translation. A word is missing and I'm jza not very sure with the rest. Thank you! user:hhanke

Sorry I can't help you with this, but I can tell that Jorge Manrique's father didn't die in a battle but peacefully at home, "between his wife, his sons and brothers and servants" as it is clearly said in the last verses.

Dardo

Thanks for the correction, I've fixed in the article. Don't be afraid to fix such mistakes yourself, I won't complain :)
