Untitled[edit]

I am not quite sure why you put this nice info here, because it's called ECOLOGY.

Ecology n [singular uncountable] the way in which plants, animals, and people are related to each other and to their environment, or the scientific study of this

Geography n [singular uncountable] the study of the countries, seas, rivers, towns etc of the world

IMHO, it would be better if you move the article to, let's say, Geography of Hong Kong.

One more thing: I truly believe that climate is studied by geography.

Mind you, climate is an abiotic factor in an ecosystem. =) --Jerry Crimson Mann 14:39, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Examples of Ecosystems in Hong Kong[edit]

This section currently reads like a long guide to ecological biomes and niches. Much of the content does not refer to the ecology of Hong Kong specifically. A cleanup is needed here! Carson 06:48, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

Some sections of this article, as currently constituted, appear to slant somewhat toward an activist point of view, as well as lacking citations. neither is ideal for an encyclopedia. Those sections ought to be rewritten and more carefully researched. JWut89LA —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.203.97.195 (talk) 21:34, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ecology of Hong KongEnvironment of Hong Kong – I've been looking at User:The Transhumanist/Lists by country/Ecology of x, and this article is the only one which does not redirect to "environment of". Instead, Environment of Hong Kong redirects here. I suggest we standardize it and rename this article to Environment of Hong Kong. See also [1]. • Support as a sensible proposal. The use of "ecology" in this manner is more common in romance languages, but isn't that common in English. RGloucester 16:37, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, sounds reasonable. SSTflyer 07:47, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
