New owners[edit]

"New owners take charge at the former Pittsburgh Brewing By Len Boselvic, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

New owners today took control of the brewery formerly known as Pittsburgh Brewing, ending the company's 21-month stay in bankruptcy and promising to invest $4.1 million in the long-neglected Pittsburgh institution.

A group of investors led by Connecticut businessman John N. Milne will operate the Lawrenceville brewery under the name Iron City Brewing, building on the tradition of the 146-year-old brewery."

Old Frothingslosh[edit]

The annual tradition of labeling and marketing Iron City as Old Frothingslosh ("The pale, stale ale with the foam on the bottom.") has a 50-year history in Pittsburgh and is worth covering in the article. There's a lot of info on the Internet. --NameThatWorks 22:23, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
