Merge[edit]

I have placed the merge template on this page because I think the content of List of places named after Simón Bolívar belongs here. Perhaps they should not be merged, and remain separate pages; if so, then I think most of the places listed on this article should be removed and replaced with a link to List of places named after Simón Bolívar. What do you think?

Additionally, it appears there is other content that is not present on these pages that exists on es:Bolívar and es:Lista de lugares nombrados en honor a Simón Bolívar. Some higher degree of coordination among these four pages would seem beneficial to both Wikipedias. -- Tetraminoe 03:01, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I removed some entries due to them not seeming very notable; it is very rare for streets to be notable enough for an entry, and some of them, while I could verify that they existed, didn't seem to be that special. Here's the removed entries:

  • Calle Simon Bolívar, a street in Havana, Cuba.
  • Bolivar Boulevard, a street in Tijuana, Baja California
  • Avenida Bolívar, Valencia (Venezuela)
  • Bolivar Terrace, Mount Florida, Glasgow, Scotland,
  • Simon Bolivar Street, Ankara

If you think that something here was removed in error, feel free to put it back, possibly with an article. SnowFire 03:34, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
