So if we use math language, initialisms + acronyms = abbreviations, or no? -- Taku 16:44 31 May 2003 (UTC)

please help me to know it out, what does the enshortening (or an abbreviation) "w/" stand for... will be thankful.

Should the abbreviations themselves be used in the English language, or should they be abbreviated from English words?
