I'm thinking of splitting this page into two separate pages, one for splash-pads which are spaces whos sole use is intended to be waterplay, and another for urban beaches that combine various uses, including waterplay.

I would welcome comments anyone has in that regard. Glogger 12:18, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I have also seen the term 'splash pad' used to describe residential drainage systems - e.g. a concrete pad that sits under a Downspout to help prevent soil erosion. See for example - [1]. Do you think it is worth adding this to the page as well, or having a page for such usage? I'm not sure how common this is in many areas of the world. --Culix (talk) 02:52, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it would be overly cumbersome to include it, not to mention that this item may go by different terminology depending on geography.==71.36.113.60 (talk) 02:08, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

spamlinks[edit]

Please don't confuse spamlinks with citations and please don't re-add the spamlinks. I'm removing the unreferenced claims that were added by the WP:COI, WP:SPA editors. Toddst1 (talk) 01:28, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since there appears to be an IP hopping sock of Vortex international (talk · contribs) persisting in inserting spamlinks, I've semi-protected this page. Toddst1 (talk) 18:25, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am confused we lost our citation due to another company. How can I show factual Splash Pad relevance? We were the first to create the residential splash pad. What do I need to do? I do not want to come across as spamming so what do I need to show to prove my point? We have been cited for a long time by users other than us. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.117.254.89 (talk) 01:42, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
