[The first sentence below is not only not a sentence at all (one of the most frequent newby mistakes) but is incomprehensible. I was going to fix that problem but I can't tell how to fix it. Should I write "Editing Planning, Programming and Budgeting System is output that budgets a wide-ranging management technique" or "Editing Planning, Programming and Budgeting System is an output-budgeting, wide-ranging management technique", or what? And could you have meant "Editing, Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System? And why the capital letters? Wikipedia articles usually only capitalize the first letter except in proper nouns and the like. The second paragraph is also incomprehensible. These articles are supposed to be written in English!)]

The PFM blog at the International Monetary Fund[1] "aims at sharing the IMF staff's vast experience with PFM practitioners in Ministries of Finance and other fiscal agencies, academia, students, non-governmental organizations, as well as with the general public." I've reverted the three blog references twice and warned the IMF ISP about the COI.[2] Now the same blogs are coming back as an identicle list from an anon. The IMF is a fairly well established international organization ( http://www.imf.org/external/about.htm ). I'm not sure about the status of their official blog though. The book reviews seem relevant. fwiw, --Versageek 03:16, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

I have no doubt that the IMF is a well-established international organization. That doesn't give them the right to advertise their services or books via Wikipedia. What does "fwiw" mean? --Busy Stubber (talk) 03:29, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

(FWIW= For What It's Worth.) Anyway, IMF publications may well be notable, and listing of them for a relevant subject is not necessarily spam. I suggest trying to find additional references, including outside reviews of the books mentioned. And I rather doubt they are the only ones to have published on this topic. If necessary, ask for help from the economics of other WikiProject. There are lots of ways of editing and improving articles, and nominating for speedy deletion is not one of them. If you find there are no additional references possible after doing a reasonable search, then the final resort is AfD, where the article will be discussed with the community. Incidentally, I see no indication "Planning, programming, and budgeting system" was ever deleted, just that the article was moved. In fact, i find it rather strange that such a well-known term would not have an article under its own name. sorry, not rather strange, really strange.
