Previous titleholders (pursuant to note to Lord Emsworth)

Should you have any questions about recent revisions, please contact me at jdungan@inebraska.com. I am anxious that the corrections and additions which are stated precisely and are easily verified not be taken down lightly as in the past. Much that has been averred in the past here and elswewhere about this family is incorrect. Adequate footnoting requires thousands of additions. Over time, I am willing to supply the same, but would appreciate your not removing contents without discussion and correspondence. I will reply, but only view my email biweekly, being old —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dunganscholar (talkcontribs) 15:01, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have reverted your edits. According to the peerage standard works Burke's, Debrett's, The Complete Peerage and Cracroft as well as the DNB the first creation of the title Earl of Limerick became extinct with the death of the 2nd earl in 1715, so the only existing earls thereafter were those of the second creation, which is still extant today. At Wikipedia the creation of hoaxes is considered WP:Disruptive editing and can result in blocks or bans (see also Wikipedia:Do not create hoaxes). By the way as you seem to be the subject of your hoax or at least a relative, you do have anyway a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and should refrain from editing articles which concern you personally. ~~ Phoe talk ~~ 18:09, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
