"Big Tone" was a joke that went too far[edit]

Check the dates for the publication source for him being called "big tone" and the date the edit was made. I know the guy who claims to of made this edit and he brags about how he got the Indy Star to call him "Big Tone" in that article. He went by Tony and not a single article or piece of history in Terre Haute calls him that. A vast majority of the Clabber Girl factory and restaurant is dedicated to him. He was only referred to as Tony as a nickname. The Indy Star got their information from this wikipedia article AFTER the edit was made claiming he was called "Big Tone" I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one that cited the nickname .... He's kind of a turd like that. (184.60.42.123 (talk) 06:46, 11 January 2018 (UTC))[reply]

Untitled[edit]

A very good article; but it has the read and feel of a "slick" press release from a public-relations firm. I have nothing available to rewrite and give a more objective viewpoint; respectfully suggest revision by persons with more information on hand. Harper 16:05, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

peacockery[edit]

I've attempted to take out some of the obviously favorable terms used in the article and make it more neutral. If you disagree with any of the changes I made, feel free to change it yourself. Ducknish (talk) 03:50, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
