Untitled[edit]

There were two Louises of Savoy: the father (b.1413-d.1465) and the son (b.1436-d.1482). Louis the son married a Charlotte of Lusignan. Would these Charlottes be the same person because Lusignan was the name of the castle at Kingdom of Cyprus. Ktsquare (talk) 21:45, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Kingdom of Armenia[edit]

According to this page on Crusader heraldry, the claim to Armenia, as well as Jerusalem and Cyprus was passed down in the Savoyard line. --Choess

Date of birth/Identity of mother[edit]

Given her date of birth, is she daughter of Amadea Palaeologina of Montferrat? Or is her year of birth incorrect?

It may be the year. This page, which I think derives from Europaeische Stammtafeln, gives her birth year as 1442/3. This govt. publication also calls her the daughter of Helena. I'm going to change the birthdate. Choess 20:10, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Although the article gives as 1442 or 1443 year of her birth, later it says that she ascended to the throne in 1458 at age 22. This would mean that she was born in 1436. Q43 (talk) 22:21, 11 December 2007 (UTC) The New Chronicles give Charlotte's date of birth as 28 June 1444 and her mother was Helena.1442 and 1443 not to mention 1436 are all incorrect.jeanne (talk) 14:05, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Charlotte of CyprusCharlotte, Queen of Cyprus – Per WP:NCROY, which states that the format Anne, Queen of Great Britain and John, King of England is preferred when there was only one monarch bearing a certain name. --Alexcoldcasefan (talk) 17:00, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent suggestion. It's got my support.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 17:02, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Where is that picture from? Of her holding the book. If there's no source, it has to be deleted. Nivakmessi124 (talk) 19:09, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
