Untitled[edit]

The article says "The bright orange star is kappa Crucis" but it isn't. Kappa Crucis is one of the blue stars, as a check with a star catalogue will confirm. I think the original author should revise and correct this page. Skeptic2 20:19, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My copy of SkyMap confirms the above, and also suggests that the surrounding stars are not blue either, judging by their B-V magnitudes, though they may appear so visually by contrast. The red star is DU Crucis, mag 7.44. Robin Scagell 15:53, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My prediction[edit]

II checked in my book and it said it was 8,200 light-years from Earth. Is that so? 173.3.193.80 (talk) 23:14, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Age[edit]
