I noticed the "History" section described neighboring Washington County as "ruling-class" and then went on to strongly imply that Clackamas is a stronghold of conservatism. The implication was easily taken further to imply that Clackamas is in a kind of political revolt over the elitists next door. I did a quick reword, but a complete rewrite would be more appropriate. I also checked the facts, and income levels between the two counties are virtually indistinguishable. In fact, Clackamas has a HIGHER per capita income by $1,000 and a poverty level nearly a full percentage point below Washington's for the general population (see "Demographics" on both counties' pages). Calling Washington "ruling-class" is the stupidest, most idiotic thing I've read in quite some time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Scamper (talk • contribs) 05:12, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
