While "Addis Abeba" may be the more proper transliteration of this name from Amharic, the far more common English spelling is "Addis Ababa". Is there any other objection than transliteration to the more common spelling? -- llywrch 00:40, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that Yohannes Haile-Selassie has become the first person listed as an alumni of this educational institution. I think it's time to create Category:Addis Ababa University alumni.
