As a note, in Tennessee, at least, most school librarians are MORE qualified than teachers... Most librarians can teach, but most teachers do not have the qualifications to be librarians. --Chiacomo 16:54, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

What qualification do you need to work as a middle-school librarian? Chris talk back 20:51, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)
A Masters in Library Science, I think... along BA or BS and a teaching certificate... --Chiacomo 22:08, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Can also have a BA/BS in Information Sciences. Some school districts require all teachers to get an MS within 7 years of starting work, or as a condition of tenure. Personally I find Chriscf's bias against librarians somewhat ironic for someone working on developing an encyclopedia. Klonimus 00:04, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Yes, I believe this is correct. --GRider\talk 22:15, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Semi-substantial changes[edit]

I think that who the principal of this school is is irrelevant. They article should probably be broken up into sections rather than its current state. Overall, this article is looking much better than when it was a candidate for deletion. It could be organized in a similar manner to Palo Alto High School. Dshaffer 05:59 13 May 2005 (UTC)
