Release date?[edit]

There seems to be some question as to when this album was released. Helmet's official site (helmetmusic.com) says 1993, as does bornannoying.com. But this article previously said that it was released in 1995, as does Amazon.com. helmetband.com says 1995 and 1994 in different spots, so who knows. It's the one album I don't have, so I can't check to see what it actually says on the disc. Anyone know?

My copy is Japanese. As you may or may not know, the Japanese are fantastic at keeping release dates straight, going so far as to print the date of issue on the rear tray card. My copy of Born Annoying is Japanese and was issued on the Toy's Factory label, licensed from Amphetamine Reptile Records who issued the album stateside. On my rear tray card, it says '6-1-94'. I'm not familiar enough with the Japanese date system to know if month predates day or whatever, but it's either June 1st or January 6th, 1994. Either way, this places its chronology directly before Betty, which came out the 3rd week of June, 1994. I don't know if Born Annoying came out stateside later or what, but it definitely came out in 1994 in Japan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.238.69.201 (talk) 18:18, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
