I Got a Woman tape lost?[edit]

The article states that the tape for "I Got a Woman" is lost. The number is on the track list of the album Elvis Presley (album), which has other songs from the Sun-recordings. So, is the track on that album "I Got a Woman" been re-recorded, or is it the Sun-recording, not lost? -DePiep 19:14, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was re-recorded at RCA, per the Elvis at Sun liner notes. --Fantailfan 19:27, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Elvis Presley-The Sun Sessions (album cover).jpg[edit]

Image:Elvis Presley-The Sun Sessions (album cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:46, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested merger[edit]

I have recently suggested to merge Elvis at Sun to The Sun Sessions because both albums originated from the same idea, to have Elvis' Sun recordings in one place, and because it does not make sense to have two articles about very similar albums when one article would be more likely to achieve good article status. Is there any reason that the pages should not be merged or is there something better to do with the articles than merging them?Rock'N'More (talk) 18:03, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

CD[edit]

No mention is made in the article of the 1987 Sun Sessions CD, which has a slightly different track listing and includes many outtakes and alternate takes, including "Harbor Lights", "Tomorrow Night", and "When It Rains It Really Pours". Angr (talk) 20:20, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
