Hello! My English is not too bad usually, but I know I'm not a good translator. So, feel free to correct any vocabulary/grammar mistakes. By User:Sky

Renaming to "Schwerin Palace"[edit]

While it's often misconcepted, "Castle" translates to "Burg" in German, thus a fortified castle. That's not what the Schweriner Schloss (Schloss=Palace) is. Thus, I suggest renaming this article to "Schwerin Palace". Cheers, Horst-schlaemma (talk) 22:31, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'll leave 3 more days for discussion before I'm making the move. Cheers Horst-schlaemma (talk) 11:58, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Additional remark: The official Schwerin Visitor Site calls it "Palace", too. Because that's what it is - not a castle. Cheers Horst-schlaemma (talk) 12:27, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article for Demmler[edit]

The main architect should get an own article, as he also designed a variety of other important buildings in Mecklenburg: Georg Adolf Demmler. He's got one at e.g. the German wiki. Cheers, Horst-schlaemma (talk) 06:20, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

"The current palace was built between 1845 and 1857" - Intro. "...the construction from 1843 until 1851." - 19th century. What are the correct dates? Camboxer (talk) 15:54, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
