Untitled[edit]

By convention operation names are not set in full capitals here. (I know, that is how they are found in the source documents. Just trust me on this, I fought this battle here and lost.) The Arkin book is full of problems. It is not a very reliable source. I also added links. Operation Garden Plot

I removed the Arkin 'Further reading.' His book (and this entry) is simply wrong. GP was not last used in '92. It was the basis of Noble Eagle after 9-11. Really, trust me, Arkin's book is not very good. Come over to my talk page if you like... [[Paul, in Saudi 16:06, 23 May 2005 (UTC)]][reply]

Paranoid Rant[edit]

I removed this: [i]It defines tax protesters, militia groups, religious cults, and general anti-government dissenters as terrorists. It calls for deadly force to be used against any extremist or dissident perpetrating any and all forms of civil disorder. (Annex A, section b of Operation Garden Plot)[/i]

as it is obviously not true. If were true the government would be suppressing these groups with military force. Paul, in Saudi (talk) 08:17, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This article seems to need a rewrite, possibly also re-titled since the unclassified documents indicate that this plan was superseded after 9/11. Reference material, however, does seem to be hard to find and there are contradictory statements on several websites I browsed through.Yojimbo1941 (talk) 15:10, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
