Untitled[edit]

When we create articles for municipalities which have different names in Finnish and Swedish, I think we should choose the name used in the majority language of the municipality, e.g. Ekenäs instead of Tammisaari. This is in accordance with the official recommendation published in Kielikello 2/1997.

I agree. There's at least two errors in the list; Jakobstad and Pernå are both listed with Finnish first. Swedish is the majority in both communes. 80.217.234.80 10:03, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New article title[edit]

Currently, List of Finnish municipalities. I suggest a more appropriate article title, List of municipalities of Finland (for example List of municipalities of Norway, List of municipalities of Sweden, List of municipalities of Denmark etc).
