Untitled[edit]

The second book in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. It chronicles the story that was told in the first book, Interview with the Vampire, from Lestat's point of view. It also speaks of how Lestat was made a vampire and how he came to Louis.

This is a completly different story than that which appeared in Interview With The Vampire.

publishing date[edit]

I have made a small edit and added the date this book was published. 207.166.7.210 20:05, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So called differences[edit]

I've read the book at least three times, and nowhere in it it says that Lestat and his mother had irreconcible differences. Unless Gabrielle's love for nature, loneliness and open spaces, versus Lestat's love for humans and Marius woudl count as irreconcible difference, then I don't really understand that part. —Preceding unsigned comment added by The Brat Princess (talkcontribs) 08:53, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

EDITED[edit]

I Fixed The Naming Of Lestat's Mentor, Marius. It Said His Name Was Marlos Or Something... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.73.57.192 (talk) 05:12, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're thinking of the movie "Queen of the Damned", where Marius is depicted changing Lestat into a vampire on his island. In the books, Magnus is Lestat's creator. Xsmasher (talk) 20:16, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Summary Too Brief[edit]

The plot summary needs lots of work - it's very brief, and it skips over most of the plot itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.150.254.84 (talk) 20:19, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"On May 13"[edit]

In the film section, a paragraph beginning "As of August 2009" is followed by two undated paras describing "recent" events and then a para about a Facebook post by Rice "On May 13". This para was added at 10:18, 5 June 2011, so I have added the year to the text with a pointer to this Talk section. I have not confirmed the year. --Thnidu (talk) 16:42, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
