Ballad[edit]

For a good long time, the Ballad of Sam Bass was perhaps the way he was best-known, and should probably be mentioned.

Sam Bass as an icon[edit]

The language in the second paragraph needs help, although I believe the intention was good there. This article could also be expanded significantly in other ways. FJ | hello 06:02, May 12, 2005 (UTC)

This is not an authentic picture of Sam Bass .... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.20.42.126 (talk) 21:24, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is there evidence that Sam Bass had 18 children? I've seen Answer.com that also says he had 18, but no reference to the source there either. Ware752 (talk) 23:45, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Links[edit]

Do we really need links to all of the dates mentioned? gjikl;; fghh frk —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.171.201.73 (talk) 23:10, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguitation: Musician Sam Bass[edit]

Is it possible to include a disambiguitation link to the statement that there is another Sam Bass, known as cello player from Deadweight and Les Claypool's band? --92.75.22.56 (talk) 15:31, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Film Reference[edit]

Even though I very well might know people who worked on this film, I'm afraid the reference to Red on Yella, Kill a Fella is not sufficiently notable for inclusion. In particular, it is unreleased at this time, and the single review given does not establish sufficient notability for its inclusion even on release, unless it is very successful or talked about (or something). Heck, even if it is simply released into theatres, a mention could be made here (but don't make a redlink that is unlikely to ever become and article, pls).
