Oddly-worded accusation[edit]
"There were also claims that ... riffs and melodies ... from other artists made their way onto songs from Get Born. These included ... The Beatles' "Sexy Sadie" (which also contained lyrical content from this song)..."
I'm not sure which Jet song is being referred to here, but the way it's worded in the above sentence makes it seem as if the Beatles song contains some lyrics from the Jet song, as opposed to the other way around. I know the Beatles got up to a lot of high-jinks in their time, but I'm pretty sure they never used a time-machine to steal ideas. I've removed the parenthesised phrase for the moment: perhaps someone who is more conversant with the works of both artists can find a way to reincorporate this particular nugget Dom Kaos (talk) 22:23, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Title from Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues"?[edit]
I don't necessarily doubt that the title comes from Dylan's lyric, but I can't find a decent reference to back it up. Plenty of articles mention "Subterranean Homesick Blues" (or an unnamed Dylan song) as the title's source, but I'm concerned that they're using Wikipedia as their source. By the way, according to the edit history, the claim dates to 2004 when the article was first added so finding an earlier source is gonna be tough given that the album came out in 2003. Some will argue that's not our problem, but I think it is in that people are able to add things without providing citations despite "the rules". Allreet (talk) 03:52, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
