History[edit]

Update[edit]

This article needs a lot of improvement. I will be working on updating the history section for citation, and consolidating the information as it's far too lengthy. The attractions and events section is also not of encyclopedia merit. Climate and transport sections also hold no citations. --Shumway (talk) 09:26, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Latest Update[edit]

NB flagged for email due to a link from the ABS in article. Got around to editing this article further. I've consolidated the history section which went on for far too long and repeated statements in some paragraphs, and put dates into chronological order. It could do with a lot more work but good citations are hard to find. There are several sites with a lot of different dates and events regarding the town. Reduced the photos to thumbnail size. Created an economy section with references to Daylesford's economy and festivals which isn't complete and still reads too heavily like an advert. Added a transport section talking about major roads, with PT (bus routes) to be added in the future. Removed a massive section that just listed names of restaurants and hotels that had been added recently by anonymous users. Added a gallery to move one of the photos from the history section.
