Missing[edit]

1. No mention of Sir Charles' support for simplified spelling and work for the Simplified Spelling Society.

2. No disambiguation page to distinguish him from his more illustrious grandfather. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.138.172.76 (talk) 09:47, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Buried AND cremated?[edit]

The article currently says "He died in Cambridge and is buried in St Botolph Church's Mill Road Cemetery, Cambridge." and "he was cremated at Cambridge Crematorium on 4 January 1963". Presumably these can't both be true, but which is correct? Djr32 (talk) 23:04, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Family Tree[edit]

ALL of the grandchildren have now been accounted for, but the spouses of three grandchildren: Charles, Gwendoline, and Ruth are currently 'missing': of the second generation of the Darwin family (grandchildren of Charles and Emma) the following three graves have NOT yet been located: Lady Katherine Darwin, nee Pember, wife of Sir Charles Galton Darwin; Jacques Pierre Paul Raverat (husband of Gwen Raverat, nee Darwin) and also William Rees-Thomas (husband of Ruth Rees – Thomas, nee Darwin). (Unfortunately the grave of Erasmus Darwin (1881-1915), son of Sir Horace and Lady 'Ida' Darwin, was destroyed during WWI.) Of these three, Jacques Raverat is more than likely to be the most difficult to find in France, the other two are somewhere in England! Any help in finding these three is to be much appreciated?
