Famous people[edit]

Should any mention of famous people in the suburb be made, ie. Alyssa Camplin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.132.30.46 (talkcontribs) }

You could fit it in somwhere, perhaps in the intro maybe. I think Michelle Tims lives off Andersons Creek Road too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nick carson (talkcontribs) 16:18, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also in the history section you could talk about Waldau and the German heritage. Check out the signs around Ruffey Lake Park. George, Victoria and King streets all had german names until World War 1. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.132.30.46 (talkcontribs) }

Thanks a whole heap for this information, I will incorporate it into the article, or if you'd like to you could quote what the signs say and who wrote them in this talk page and we'll add the relevant info into the article. I had no idea German settlers came out here that long ago! The oldest human things in East Doncaster I think I've seen is One little Early Victorian house on George Street, and another on Andersons Creek Road, they would have been built in the late 1800's, and I imagine at the time they would have been some of the only things around there, but this new information about Waldau opens a whole set of new doors. Deffinatly look into it! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nick carson (talkcontribs) 16:18, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
