Template Short description[edit]

Changed short description (use to show suggested search in search bar) to <<Taiwanese singer (1953–1995)>>

Teresa Teng was born in Taiwan. In chinese language wikipedia all reliable sources points her as 臺灣女歌手. Another similar singer Fei Yu-ching as Taiwanese (and in chinese lang wiki 臺灣男歌手) too.

Both are descendants of civil war refugees which are still Taiwanese, for the fact that they are born in Taiwan.

Ethnic chinese are different than chinese citizens which are referred to PRC citizens. Chinese-Singaporean singer aren't chinese singer.

Unlike Fei-Yu-ching who retires but like Dolores O'Riordan Frank Sinatra who passed away, I follow the convention to mention (year born - year demise).
