Pictures removed[edit]

This article had a lot of pictures, some of which were a bit "uninteresting", and having so many caused layout madness in my browser when the pictures were longer than the article:

Moorgate (street), looking towards 20 Moorgate (left) and 12 Moorgate (right).

Bank of England building, located at the intersection of Moorgate with Prince's Street and Lothbury.

The Guildhall and the Moorhouse are nice to look at, but I'm not quite sure these are worthy of inclusion. Metaeducation 20:16, 9 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tube Crash and Moorgate Station details[edit]

Having a separate section for Moorgate station and the tube crash doesn't seem to make a lot of sense when they have their own articles (Moorgate station, Moorgate tube crash). Perhaps the article on the crash should be integrated into the article for the station, but either way, duplicating the story here doesn't really seem to serve much purpose. I think a link works and will encourage people to improve those articles and speak more broadly about the Moorgate area itself here. Metaeducation 20:16, 9 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Moorgate Street and neighbourhood[edit]

I've removed a reference to Moorgate being a "dual carriageway street". I walk along Moorgate every day, and it's not a dual carriageway (unlike nearby London Wall). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.18.1.9 (talk) 02:25, 13 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Someone was asking about a free map: try this page? http://informationfreeway.org/?lat=6713515.1532&lon=-9833.50212&zoom=17&layers=B000000 Ojw 12:45, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Roman origin?[edit]

The main London article claims the gate is of medieval origin, and that it's the only London gate that didn't originate in the roman era. Neither article has a citation there. Anyone know which is true? Maltice (talk) 16:50, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
