A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on March 23, 2018.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that Kennington tube station, opened in 1890, is a listed building and the only one from the world's first underground electric railway to retain its original appearance?

Untitled[edit]

There's a 1920s drawing of Kennnington linked from here (Geocities doesn't seem to like links direct to the images). Searching Google groups for "kennington" throws up some relevant threads, too. --rbrwrˆ —Preceding undated comment added 23:33, 20 March 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Charing Cross to Morden[edit]

Now that the Battersea branch has opened, whilst it does not show it on the Tube Map, on just a line diagram for the Northern Line it sill shows there is a limited service between the Charig Cross branch and the Morden branch. I presume this is in the peak time. Should this be (re)added to the article? Difficultly north (talk) The artist formerly known as Simply south 17:09, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
