Possible article or list on "Rock"[edit]

There appears to be a steadily growing stream of rock bands/musicians from Maine. I've pretty much heard of all of the ones listed in the "Rock" section, so, I feel we should make a separate article and/or list of "Maine Rockers". --Emevas 19:54, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, only a handful of the bands listed here should probably be on here, it looks to me like shameless self promotion. We should really keep a closer watch on the list.

Speaking as a Maine musician, I agree with this article's need for a rewrite, but I can say that most of the listed acts all belong here though there are some notable omissions, not the least of which is Lenny Breau and his parents, Hal Lone Pine (Harold Breau, I believe was his real name) and Betty Cody (Cote). Also, there should be some mention of jazz, especially if Lenny is mentioned.Rowemusic (talk) 13:14, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
