Comment[edit]

While originally El Dorado was built in the municipality of Engativá, Engativá is not longer a municipality but a locallity. Furthermore, currently El Dorado is part of the locallity of Fontibón, not Engativá. --Chlewey 23:09, 3 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Help needed[edit]

NEEDED: Intercontinetal de Aviación's Destinations!!! Can't be found anywhere, if anyone knows their destinations or knows where they could be found online please help!!!! Announced Services?[edit]

I removed the aforementioned section because just because the government agency has given permission for these airlines to fly, that doesn't mean that the airlines will actually fly it. Do not list these airlines as having an intent of flying to the airport, as long as there is no official announcement from the airlines themselves. The only one I that gave an official announcement after it was given authority was AerOasis, that's why I added it. It's on their website under "rutas". http://www.aeroasis.com.co/ , i found them through google Colombia. Destinations are under "destinos", not rutas, and they recently changed their site (actual routes weren't on there before, just a list of possible destinations), I guess they moved the press release to a new section, probably under about us. Thanks. I do have a working knowledge of Spanish (I am hesitant to say I read Spanish, but I can more or less get the gist. If there are stuff that I do not understand, I have friends who are happy to translate, something I did for the dossier of AeroCivil.), but anyway, is AerOasis flying already or are they still a start-up airline? I don't think we should list them unless they have announced their start date. At the moment it was just "November", upon receiving authorization to fly they are going to begin service in "November" which could be moved up or down based on how fast they work at hiring staff and getting gates, training, etc for the non-management portion. I am a colombian happy of providing info for this site. I think that if flights that have not even been approved to Delta or US for example are shown, flights that have been approved like the ones for Avianca SHOULD be listed. I have added them myself several times but people erase them, which i think is disrispectufl.   • It is ok to add new flights, but if you do not have the sources to prove it, then it cannot be added. I have seen links for a Colombian newspaper being cited as sources, but the links do not point to the actual article that mentions the proposed flights; it simply points to the homepage. New International Terminal[edit]

A friend of mine, who travelled in Colombia bout 3 days ago, told me that the New International Terminal in El Dorado was already opened about 3 weeks ago, but the page I'm watching it, looks outdated that the airport has 2 terminals, since the airports have 3 terminals, the old El Dorado terminal use only domestic flights except Avianca. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.255.22.128 (talk) 18:10, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
